Last season´s MVP donates 10,000 face masks

Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo is worried about his home in Greece. The mayor is very thankful for their donation.

During the Covid-19 pandemic Giannis tries to help his home in Greece. Last season´s MVP donates 10,000 face masks to Zografou – a suburb near Athens, where the “Greek Freak” grew up as a son of two Nigerian immigrants with his brothers Thanasis, Kostas and Alexis.

Vassilis Thodas, Zografou´s mayor, thanks “the Antetokounmpo brothers from the bottom of his heart” and explains that this gesture shows that the brothers haven’t forgotten they´re home town. “After the Corona crisis is over Giannis and his brothers will be honored”, he adds.
